ENGINES giant Rolls-Royce has received a £3.2 billion boost after it was chosen by Delta Air Lines to power 50 new Airbus aircraft.
The order is for Trent XWB engines, which will be used to power 25 Airbus A350s, as well as for the recently-launched Trent 7000 engines which will go towards 25 Airbus A330 aircraft.
