Scottish Water wins Canada training deal

Scottish Water is to launch an international division after landing a training contract in Canada.

The utility says it is following "a tradition of Scots taking their scientific and engineering skills and knowledge overseas".

Its Canadian contract is to deliver training to operational staff in the water industry throughout Alberta. A Scottish Water team is already on the ground delivering 15 training workshops on the management of water from source to tap, in association with local and international partners.
