Six firms join law network

UNITED Employment Lawyers, the network of law firms covering Scotland, has welcomed a further six members into the fold.

The new arrivals, whose combined offices are spread throughout Scotland, are Wright & Crawford, Mackintosh & Wylie, Freelands, Lows, Inksters and Brown & McRae. The additions swell the network to a total of 24 Scottish law firms, with more than 40 lawyers involved in delivering employment law services.

Chairman Malcolm Mackay said each of the firms are "embedded in their local communities".
