CAMPBELL & Kennedy is leading the nominations at The Herald's Scottish Family Business Awards after being selected in four categories.
The electrical contracting, fire safety and solar panel installer was nominated in the large family business of the year category as well being shortlisted in the commitment to the community, business innovation and fastest growing prizes.
Among those picking up two nominations were whisky gift specialist Angel's Share Glass, the Auchrannie Resort on Arran, facilities management firm Spectrum Service Solutions, restaurant and deli Valvona & Crolla and retailer A Hume Clothing.
The event, in association with Business Gateway and which takes place on December 3 at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow, saw a record number of entries this year from a wide variety of industry sectors.
Hugh Lightbody, chief officer at the Business Gateway National Unit, said: "The quality of entries this year was, not surprisingly, extremely impressive. At Business Gateway we work with thousands of businesses every year so we know all about the high standard of businesses operating across the whole of Scotland."
Ian McConnell, business editor of The Herald and chairman of the judging panel, said: "It was once again a pleasure to review so many success stories within the crucial Scottish family business sector in arriving at the shortlists.
"These success stories came from family businesses of all sizes, and from many different sectors. The quality and diversity of entrants ensured a lively debate."

Tom Craig, chairman of Craig Corporate, said: "Many congratulations to those who got through the rigorous judging process and commiserations to those who didn't quite make the shortlist. We saw really strong contenders across all categories of the entrants."
