STRATHCLYDE Pension Fund has sold its stake in the Arndale Centre in Eastbourne, East Sussex, for an undisclosed sum.
Legal & General Property has secured outright ownership of the shopping mall after previously being a joint venture partner with Strathclyde.
The town centre site attracts 17 million visitors per year and houses retail chains including Marks & Spencer, BHS and Primark.
Plans for a £70 million extension to the centre were submitted in April last year.
