THE MacArtney underwater technology group of Denmark has bought Aberdeenshire-based Callidus Subsea for an undisclosed sum.
Highlighting the value of Callidus Subsea's experience in the North Sea, MacArtney's UK arm said the takeover would help it become a leader in the market for supplying subsea cable systems.
