PHARMACELLS expects to create 12 jobs at its BioCity hub in Lanarkshire after the stem cell company's recent takeover by Precious Cells.
At the time of the deal, in July, it was estimated up to 50 jobs would be added in London and Scotland. PCG said yesterday it will add to the 25 people it employs at the Brunel Science Park.
Pharmacells has patented a method of allowing stem cells to be collected from adult blood which allows for a person to use their own cells in treatment.
