THE biggest tyre wholesaler in the UK is in talks to triple the size of its Scottish operation by taking over a massive warehouse in Lanarkshire.

Stapletons Tyre Services, a sister company to Kwik Fit, is looking to move from its site at Coatbridge to a 71,000sqft warehouse at the Eurocentral business park.
The new site will become one of seven hubs around the UK from which it supplies car dealerships, garages and other retailers with leading brands like Pirelli, Goodyear and Firestone. It is expected to create jobs, although the company was unable to give details before going to press.
