The investment by AAM (American Axle Manufacturing) will safeguard about 80 jobs at the Scotstoun facility where Albion Automotive makes axles, chassis and related components for commercial vehicles.
The Scottish Government said the investment will increase the operation's capabilities in product and process design and allow it to refocus on opportunities in the passenger vehicle market.
