Madrid-based Elecnor Group paid around £5.6 million for a 55% stake in IQA in June.
Now IQA is restructuring into two main business units with the first, headed by existing operations director Chris Fergus, to focus on the core business of maintaining low-voltage electrical assets for utilities such as ScottishPower.
