EU ANTITRUST regulators have approved Anheuser-Busch InBev's $100 billion-plus takeover of SABMiller. The deal is conditional on the sale of SABMiller’s European beer business.

Anheuser-Busch InBev has already agreed a deal to sell brands including Peroni, Grolsch and Meantime to Japanese group Asahi. The company will also have to divest its eastern European assets.
