LENA Wilson, the chief executive of Scottish Enterprise, received total remuneration of £69,000 for her role as a non-executive director of London-listed product testing group Intertek in 2016.

Ms Wilson received fees of £58,000 as a non-executive member of the board along with £10,000 for sitting on the audit committee. She received a further £1,000 in expenses.

Her fees are down from £74,000 in 2015 as a result of expenses reducing from £6,000. For her role leading Scottish Enterprise, Ms Wilson’s pay rate is fixed between £210,000 and £214,999.

She has served on the board of Intertek since 2012. In 2016 she attended four board meetings and a further four audit committee meetings.

Over the course of 2016, Ms Wilson’s shareholding in Intertek increased to 699 from 530, which are worth £27,309 on the current share price.
