BANKS regulated by The Bank of England will have to pay more in levies to meet the additional costs resulting from Brexit. The Bank’s prudential regulation authority has said that from April it will require an increase of four per cent in requirements, to £266.5 million, citing “recovery of certain costs associated with European Union withdrawal”.
