ALL 11 employees of Forres-based Scotland Electronics (International) have been made redundant after a liquidator was appointed to the business.

Gordon Maclure of Johnston Carmichael has been appointed interim liquidator of the company, which designed and manufactured precision electronics for the defence, aeronautics and oil and gas sectors. He said it had run into “severe cash flow difficulties” exacerbated by the oil gas industry downturn, adding that it had been “unable to agree an agreement regarding the outstanding arrears sought by HMRC”. Mr Maclure is looking to raise cash by selling the assets of the company.
