Decline in cargo trade sees Clydeport profits dip £1.3m

West coast port operator Clydeport suffered a 10.7% decline in cargo passing through its facilities last year as the economic downturn hit global trade, knocking almost £1.3 million off annual profits.

But it said that a diverse customer base helped it weather the economic downturn better than other European ports.
