Drugs firm plans fast expansion and mulls US listing

Controlled Therapeutics, the Scottish speciality drugs company owned by US pharmaceutical investors, has revealed to The Herald it is planning rapid expansion on the back of its ambitious new product pipeline and is also mulling a Nasdaq listing in New York to fund future growth.

The East Kilbride-based company, which today will also announce it has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, specialises in products for women’s health.
