Fraser pockets £14m from sale of stake in BCW

Millionaire businessman Paul Fraser, the owner of plush Ingliston Country Club in Renfrewshire, appears to have added more than £14 million to his personal family fortune after selling his stake in BCW Group, the debt collection agency he founded more than 25 years ago.

Glasgow-based BCW yesterday revealed that it had been acquired by Norway’s Gothia Financial Group.

While neither company would divulge the sale price, industry observers estimated the value of the deal at around £20 million.
