Funding boost for hotel company

The owner of two of Scotland’s top hotels has had nearly £700,000 cut from its debt pile by the 41% taxpayer-owned Lloyds Banking Group.

Alternative Hotel Group, owner of five-star hotels Cameron House by Loch Lomond and Barony Castle in the Borders, and Lloyds agreed to restructure its debt after the value of its estate plummeted.
