Jacobs and Turner profits climb 3.6% despite recession

Profits at Glasgow-based outdoor clothing chain Trespass climbed 3.6% last year despite the recession.

Accounts for brothers Afzal and Akmal Khushi’s company Jacobs & Turner, which has manufacturing and retailing operations, show it bounced back from three consecutive years of falling earnings to post pre-tax profit of £2.32m for the year to June 30, 2009.
