ProStrakan cancer drug up for review in Canada

Prostrakan, the Borders-based speciality pharmaceutical group, yesterday said its cancer-pain relief drug Abstral had been accepted for review by Health Canada, the Canadian government’s department with responsibility for public health, writes Mark Smith.

The Galashiels-based company said that the regulatory “new drug submission” had been made by its Canadian partner, Paladin Labs.
