Wood Group remains on course to achieve market expectations

Wood Group said it remained in line to meet market expectations for 2009 with strong activity levels in the North Sea compensating for a slowdown in other areas, which it believes will drag on into 2010.

The Aberdeen-based oil services giant said its production facilities arm had recorded a strong performance in 2009.

The division, which runs rigs on behalf of operators and provides related services, has been busy supporting a range of customers in the North Sea.
