As expected, a package of reforms for the tenant farming sector were approved by the Scottish Parliament on Thursday.
The Agricultural Holdings (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill makes changes to rent review arrangements to ban "upward only" and "landlord only" initiated rent reviews as well as making it easier for grandchildren to inherit farm tenancies.
Thursday's Fronterra Global Dairy Trade Auction saw average prices jump 13.5% on the previous auction two weeks ago.
