The Cumberland and Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart sold 2233 prime lambs in Longtown on Thursday to a top of £108.50 and 230p to average 202.5p. A smaller show of 888 prime hoggs peaked at £87.80 and 194p to level at 155.3p.

United Auctions sold 839 prime lambs at Stirling on Thursday to a top of £105.50 per head and 227p per kg to average 205.1p (+4.9p on the week).
