Lawrie & Symington sold 125 store heifers in Lanark on Tuesday to a top of 228p per kg and an average of 200p, while 231 store, beef-bred bullocks peaked at 230.6p and levelled at 212.2p.
Sixty-five store, dairy-bred bullocks sold to 193.2p and averaged 145.4p.
Harrison & Hetherington sold 159 store heifers in Lockerbie on Tuesday to 260.9p and an average of 215.1p, while 327 store bullocks peaked at 255.6p and levelled at 219.8p.
Messrs Craig Wilson Ltd sold 791 prime lambs in Newton Stewart yesterday to a top of £75 per head and 158.5p to average 142p (-8.1p on the week).
The 436 cast sheep forward sold to £97 for a Texel ram, while ewes peaked at £80 for Texel Xs and £58 for Blackfaces.
The Cumberland and Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had 28 prime cattle forward in Dumfries yesterday when heifers sold to 230.5p and averaged 209.3p, while bullocks peaked at 233.5p and levelled at 208.4p.
There were 107 cattle presented in the rough ring when beef cows averaged 128.4p and dairy cows levelled at 89.4p.
The firm also sold 900 prime lambs to a top of £74 and 170p to average 146.9p (+0.9p).
The 836 cast sheep forward saw heavy ewes sell to £108.50 for Texels and average £55.50 (-£3.34), while light ewes peaked at £66.50 for Blackfaces and levelled at £39.21 (+£3.07).
