In the rough ring 43 beef cows averaged 125.6p and 69 dairy cows levelled at 107.2p. Three bulls averaged 105.2p.
There were also 3 dairy cattle that sold to £2080 for a Holstein Friesian heifer and averaged £1760.
Wallets Marts sold 329 prime hoggs in Castle Douglas yesterday to a top of £96 per head and 218.5p per kg to average 193.3p (-4.4p on the week).
The 176 cast sheep forward saw ewes sell to £116 for Texels and £80 for Blackfaces with the overall average levelling at £75.84 (+£11.50).
Lawrie & Symington Ltd sold 321 store heifers in Lanark yesterday to a top of 306.9p and an average of 211.2p, while 293 store, beef-bred bullocks peaked at 273.3p and levelled at 228.4p. Forty-two store, B&W bullocks sold to 186.7p and averaged 154.4p.
Harrison & Hetherington Ltd sold 312 store heifers in Lockerbie yesterday to a top of 263.9p and an average of 214.2p, while 343 store bullocks peaked at 293.4p and levelled at 224.8p.
