Wallets Marts sold 91 store bullocks in Castle Douglas yesterday to a top of 220.5p and an average of 200.3p, while 78 store bullocks peaked at 238.7p and levelled at 221p.
In the rough ring 33 cows averaged 113.2p.
John Swan Ltd sold 38 prime heifers in St Boswells yesterday to a top of 231p and an average of 217.5p (+2.6p on the week), while 30 prime bullocks peaked at 230p and levelled at 206.3p (+0.1p).
Six prime bulls sold to 231p and averaged 174.5p (+2.6p).
In the rough ring 35 beef-type cattle averaged 124.2p (+6.3p).
The firm also sold 1,954 prime lambs to a top of £91 per head and 187.8p per kg to average 163.3p (-4.7p).
The 880 cast sheep forward saw ewes sell to £111 for Suffolks and £75 for Hill Cheviots to average £60 overall.
Harrison & Hetherington Ltd sold 28 prime heifers in Carlisle yesterday to a top of 258p and an average of 200.4p (+8.6p), while 25 prime, beef-bred bullocks peaked at 248p and levelled at 199p (+7.6p). Four prime, dairy-bred bullocks sold to 158.5p and averaged 151p (-1.7p).
Fifty-seven prime, beef-bred bulls sold to 214.5p and averaged 182.8p (+18.2p), while 18 prime, dairy-bred bulls peaked at 168.5p and levelled at 142.3p (+6.5p).
In the rough ring 122 beef cows averaged 132p (+1.1p) and 165 dairy cows levelled at 88.4p (-6.8p). Ten bulls averaged 114.3p (-9.4p).
The firm also sold 2,433 prime lambs to a top of £101.80 and 250p to average 169.4p (-8.1p).
The 216 cast sheep forward saw ewes sell to £117.50 for Texels and £71.50 for Hill Cheviots.

There were also 885 cast sheep forward that saw ewes sell to £127 for a pen of Texels and £67 for Blackfaces.
Lawrie & Symington Ltd sold 22 prime heifers in Lanark yesterday to a top of 243p and an average of 214.1p (-4.1p), while 14 prime, beef-bred bullocks peaked at 231p and levelled at 202.5p (+1.7p).
Fifteen prime, B&W bullocks sold to 165p and averaged 143.6p (-6p).
In the rough ring 17 beef cows averaged 127p (+7p) and 28 dairy cows levelled at 84p (-2p).
Seven OTM cattle averaged 102p (-4p).
The firm also sold 2,059 prime lambs to a top of £88 and 204.7p to average 163.5p (-3.1p).
The 600 cast sheep forward saw Blackface ewes peak at £71.50.
