Chinese team visits Scots firms

A DELEGATION from the UPEX stock market, in Shenzhen, China, has been visiting Scottish companies to learn more about intellectual property (IP).

The visitors, who depart today, were being hosted by Metis Partners and also met with Touch Bionics, Clydesdale Bank, Murgitroyd and representatives from the business school at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Stephen Robertson, managing director of Metis, said Shenzhen is recognised as China's equivalent to Silicon Valley in the US.
