Confidence at financial services companies dips

CONFIDENCE within financial services com-panies across the UK has dipped even though income and volume of business is rising, according to a report.

The research found there was a net balance – the difference between the percentage of firms reporting an increase and those reporting a decrease – of +39% of firms reporting a rise in volume.

That marked the ninth consecutive quarter of volume growth recorded in the CBI and PwC survey of 108 firms while profitability, at +25%, grew for the 12th quarter in a row.
