Funding for new companies

AROUND £2 million of funding is being put towards a new pilot project to create 90 technology spin-out companies from Scottish universities over the next three years.

Edinburgh, Strathclyde and Aberdeen will act as hubs to offer enterprise support services to all masters and PhD level students with the potential to form a high-value business in the region.

The project wants to build on existing company formation programmes and share best practice across Scottish academia.
