Glasgow office space fears

TAKE-up of city centre office space in Glasgow was 66,218 sq ft in the third quarter of the year, which was down on the quarterly average of 108,030 sq ft.

The picture in Edinburgh was slightly brighter with the 118,919 sq ft taken up in line with averages reported in the report by GVA.

Toby Withall, national markets director of GVA, said: "In terms of UK city centre activity, Grade A space has reduced and supply is waning in both Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres."
