The Institute for Sustainable Engineering and Technology Research (ISETR) will unite a range of research projects under three broad themes – engineering and energy systems, interactive communications engineering and sustain-ability in the built environment.
Projects include research by Dr Roberto Ramirez-Iniguez into devices that increase the amount of power generated by solar panels, and by Dr Stas Burek and PhD student George Loumakis into a new, lower cost solar thermal collector.
