The group, which operates 11 regional airports across Scotland, saw passenger numbers soar to 139,164, an increase of 12,466 compared to July 2012.
However Benbecula was down 14.6% to 2927 and Barra by 23.9% to 1165 because of the withdrawal of the service between the islands after the Western Isles Council cut the subsidy to it.
Dundee fell 39% to 3186 as Loganair withdrew its services to Birmingham and Belfast in December.
Numbers at Wick more than doubled to 4541 because of oil companies sending workers there to get shorter helicopter flights to and from platforms.
Inverness, the biggest airport in HIAL, grew 3% to 65,776 while Sumburgh was up 34% to 26,290.
