The results of the latest demographics report by Oil & Gas UK may stoke concern the UK industry is failing to tap the potential offered by well-qualified women. There have been repeated warnings that skills shortages in areas such as engineering could hamper attempts by Scottish operations to capitalise on booming global demand for oil and gas.
