Praise for Highlands tourism expo

AN umbrella group of tourism businesses in an area spanning the southern and central Highlands has held its first-ever expo.

Around 50 businesses, ranging from Gleneagles and The Famous Grouse to the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre and Hidden Glen Safaris, set out their stall at the inaugural Breadalbane Tourism Co-operative Expo.

The event was billed as a local alternative to national shows like the annual VisitScotland Expo, and allowed businesses in towns like Aberfeldy, Crieff, Crianlarich, Lochearnhead and Strathyre to showcase their wares and discuss commercial opportunities.
