THE CBI (Confederation of British Industry) has unveiled its successor for current Scottish chief Hugh Aitken.

Tracy Black, who has held roles with Goldman Sachs and USB, will work with the Scottish team part-time before taking over from Mr Aitken as the organisation’s full-time director for Scotland next April.

Ms Black said: “I am delighted to join the CBI Scotland team at a time when there are big issues at hand for the future success of our economy.

“Scotland has a rich mix of top-class firms of all sizes and I intend to make sure that our strong business voice is heard.”
