LOGANAIR has made a profit in 14 of the 15 years since Scott Grier engineered a management buyout of the operation from British Midland in 1997.

This is an enviable record in the context of a global aviation sector that has had to cope with many bouts of extreme turbulence. It is particularly impressive in a Scottish and wider UK aviation market-place which has proved too difficult for many.
