New managing partner in Edinburgh for Marks & Clerk
Marks & Clerk has promoted Paul Chapman to be managing partner of its Edinburgh office.
The partner at the patent attorney firm has more than 20 years of experience and specialises in life sciences.
Bob Naismith, UK managing partner, said: “Paul is a trusted advisor to a number of key clients with a long track record of delivering results. With Scotland’s thriving biocluster – including Edinburgh BioQuarter – delivering innovation at great pace, his expertise in life sciences will continue to prove hugely beneficial.”
Mr Chapman replaces Campbell Newell who will continue to be responsible for the trade mark practice across Scotland and take on a wider role developing that across the UK.
