Campbell joins EY as partner

ACCOUNTANCY firm EY has appointed Morven Campbell as a partner in its financial services practice.

Ms Campbell, who is based in EY’s Glasgow office, will lead the firm’s extended assurance practice across the UK regions. Her appointment brings the total number of EY partners in Scotland to 34 following a recent recruitment drive.

Ms Campbell is a former partner at PwC and most recently ran her own consultancy business.

She said: “I am thrilled to join EY and further support our clients to manage their regulatory reform agendas, risk management practices and culture change efforts.”

Muir moves to Morisons

PAMELA Muir has joined Morisons Solicitors as a partner to head up the firm’s restructuring and insolvency team.

Ms Muir, who has arrived from Pinsent Masons, brings particular experience of the retail, manufacturing, hotel & leisure and commercial property to the role.

Representing creditors, investors and company directors, she will be based in Morisons’ Glasgow office.

Morisons has also promoted Jan MacKay from associate to partner, and added Steven Harte to its employment team as a solicitor from DWF.

Morisons hired a five-strong dispute team from McClure Naismith, the law firm currently in administration, earlier this month.

All Change at recruitment firm

CHANGE Recruitment Group has added to hires to its IT, digital and business change practice.

Andrew Finlayson has joined as a director in the department, while Laura Thorburn has been promoted to associate director.

The duo will lead a growing team of consultants in Glasgow and Edinburgh charged with identifying recruitment solutions for clients across a range of sectors.

Mr Finalyson joins with more than 17 years’ experience in IT recruitment, while Ms Thorburn has been with Change for eight years.
