THE Institute of Directors Scotland has launched its first Young Directors Forum.

The IoD said the group will give mentoring and provide opportunities for younger business people to learn from their peers.

Lex Mancini, an associate at Tilney Bestinvest, has been appointed chair of the forum and believes it can “provide the support, access to expertise and the business network that young directors need to grow and be successful in the future”.

Others involved include Samantha McFarlane, business engagement manager at Edinburgh Napier University Business School, LUX founder Mhairi MacLeod, Mearns and Company director Malcolm Steel and Josh Quigley of SharkDog.
