The chief executive of Hunter Boot is leaving to head up The Rug Company from next month.
James Seuss has been with the Edinburgh fashion firm, best known for its Wellington boots, for almost three years.
Mr Seuss has had a long career in luxury brands with positions at Tiffany & Co, Gucci Group and Stella McCartney. He also held senior roles at Nike and Cole Haan.
The London-based Rug Company has worked with designers such as Alexander McQueen, Diane von Furstenberg, Kelly Wearstler, Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood on its ranges of hand made textiles.
Mr Seuss said: “It is a privilege to be joining a company with such passion and focus on delivering exceptional products to consumers, and I look forward to building on the success the business has had globally.
“I have long been an admirer of this uniquely British company and what it stands for in the market.”
