New tax partner at Campbell Dallas
Mark Pryce has joined accountancy firm Campbell Dallas as a partner based in the firm’s Glasgow head office.
Mr Pryce, a specialist in corporate and international tax, has extensive experience of tax forecasting, developing solutions for reporting and automating tax systems, tax audits, operational tax management, management of tax affairs in overseas jurisdictions and handling complex tax authority enquiries.
He joins Campbell Dallas from the Glasgow-based engineering company Weir Group, where he led a team responsible for international tax reporting, forecasting, provisioning and compliance roles.
Peter Gallanagh, head of general practice at Campbell Dallas, said: “We are very pleased that Mark is joining our fast-growing tax practice.
“He brings a wealth of experience in the field of corporate tax compliance and reporting, an area in which clients are increasingly seeking expert advice on how to manage their corporate tax issues”.
Bilfinger makes top appointment
Alasdair Ramsay has taken over from Eric Forgie as regional senior director at the 60-strong Glasgow office today of property consultancy Bilfinger GVA.
Mr Ramsay joined Bilfinger in September last year having previously headed up Deloitte Real Estate in Scotland and Northern Ireland and, before that, Drivers Jonas.
He brings 28 years’ of experience in commercial real estate – including the £50 million sale of Aberdeen’s Talisman House and the Exchange Building – and will lead on Bilfinger’s corporate and investment client portfolio.

University expands business team
Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen has strengthened its business development team with the appointment of two new managers.
Sarah Hillyear has taken up the role of business development manager at the university’s Oil and Gas Institute where she will be responsible for supporting its commercial initiatives.
Ms Hillyear joins the university from a business development management role with Mearns & Gill which she took up following four years with Decom North Sea.
Meanwhile, Laura Wood has been appointed as new business development manager at Aberdeen Business School where she has a client-facing role which will see her working with industry to identify needs for tailored learning programmes.
Ms Wood previously worked for an oilfield services company where she worked as a client account manager.
Donella Beaton, the university’s head of new business, said: “I am delighted with these appointments which have helped to expand RGU’s business development capabilities.
“Both Sarah and Laura bring a wealth of skills, knowledge and industry experience which will be invaluable as we support the university with its commercial aims and ambitions.”
The two new appointments coincide with the internal promotion of Chris Moule who has been appointed to senior business development manager
Mr Moule has spent the last five years directly working with businesses on behalf of RGU and has a wealth of commercial experience having started three of his own companies.
