Real estate group Savills has appointed its Scottish investment director Nick Penny as Head of Savills Scotland.

Mr Penny, who joined the company in 1997 and helped set up the Edinburgh office, will become the group’s first country head as Savills continues to grow its Scottish business.

Mark Ridley, chief executive of UK and Europe , said he would be supported in the role by Charlie Dudgeon and Mark Fleming together with an experienced Scottish executive board.

Savills advises on residential, rural and commercial property in Scotland from eight offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Brechin, Aberdeen, Dumfries, Fochabers and Haddington.
