Christine O’Neill, chairman of Scotland’s biggest independent law firm Brodies, has been unanimously re-elected by partners to serve a second term as chairman. She will work with long-serving managing partner Bill Drummond who was himself re-elected last month to continue the role he has held since 1998. Ms O’Neill is a leading public law expert, and the only solicitor advocate to be appointed a standing junior to the Scottish Government. Brodies said she was currently advising clients on Scottish and EU constitutional issues.
