DELOITTE has recruited a team of business valuation specialists to broaden its service offering in Scotland. The accountancy giant said Colin Tait, Craig Whyte, and Robbie Glass would bring over 25 years of experience to work at the firm. Based in Edinburgh, the team will boost Deloitte’s corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions capability. The recruits will also work with Deloitte’s valuations team based in London and its financial services practice. Gavin Hood, head of advisory corporate finance at Deloitte in Scotland said: “Growing our valuations practice is an important part of our overall corporate finance strategy – we’ve been looking to do this nationally for some time.”
