MARCUS Kneen, the chief executive of Edinburgh-based video security specialist IndigoVision, saw his total remuneration increase 2 per cent to $387,000 (£274,437) in 2015 compared to an equivalent 12 month period the year before, the company’s annual report indicates.

Although Mr Kneen’s base salary fell almost 3 per cent, he received benefits during the year of $23,000, an increase of almost 21 per cent on an equivalent 12-month period the year before. Due to a change in IndigoVision’s year end, directors’ remuneration is shown over 17 months in 2014 and over 12 months in 2015. Chairman Hamish Grossart saw his total remuneration fall 6.2 per cent over the equivalent previous period to $92,000.
