Oil & Gas UK has appointed Neil McCulloch and Terry Savage as its new co-chairmen. Mr McCulloch, North Sea president at EnQuest, said the industry had to achieve average unit operating costs of $15, and drilling costs of less than half their peak level. Mr Savage, corporate relationship director at Global Energy Group, said a “change in culture and behaviours” was needed for the UK Continental Shelf to have a sustainable future. Ray Riddoch (Nexen Petroleum) and Neil Sims (Expro) take over as vice-chairmen, while new board members are Mark Thomas (BP), Walter Thain (Petrofac) and Morton Kelstrup (Maersk Oil).
