ABERDEEN Asset Management has appointed Martin Jennings as the first head of its digital division. The fund management giant's chief executive, Martin Gilbert, said: “Martin’s recruitment emphasises further Aberdeen’s commitment to capitalise on the huge technological change the asset management industry is facing ... In creating a distinct division, we aim to create a culture that can foster innovation, agility and client services.” Mr Jennings was previously chief executive of the UK and Australia businesses of FNZ, which develops technology used by fund managers. He has worked in areas such as marketing at Axa.
