EY has appointed Sue Dawe as its managing partner in Edinburgh, and head of its financial services practice in Scotland and the regions including Bristol, Leeds and Manchester.

Ms Dawe, a partner since 2009, was previously global co-leader of wealth and asset management (WAM) assurance and head of that business sin the UK.

EY’s Scotland practice has also added three new partners with more than 45 years’ of combined experience at the firm.

Edinburgh-based Caroline Mercer has been promoted to become an assurance partner in the financial services practice. Lesley Stubberfield becomes advisory partner in the IT risk and assurance practice in Edinburgh, and Glasgow-based Philip Milne is now a partner in EY’s transaction advisory services.
