FAROE Petroleum chief executive Graham Stewart’s total remuneration rose by around 25 per cent last year when the North Sea-focused oil and gas firm increased production and reserves. Aberdeen-based Faroe’s annual report shows Mr Stewart earned £798,000 in the year to 31 December, compared with £646,000 in the preceding year. Mr Stewart’s salary was constant at £376,000. His bonus payments increased by 83 per cent, to £344,000 from £188,000. Faroe grew output to an average 17,395 barrels oil equivalent daily in 2016, from 10,530 boed in 2015. Reserves increased to 81.3 million barrels oil equivalent, from 57.4mmboe.
