Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust has promoted deputy manager Tom Slater to joint manager alongside James Anderson, who has managed the trust since 2000.
Mr Slater joined Baillie Gifford in the same year,, became Mr Anderson's deputy in 2009 and was appointed a partner of the firm in 2012.
